Trait Tree – Interactive Display

The Trait Tree project is an interactive exhibit that was part of the “Genome: Unlocking Life’s Code” exhibition from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and the National Institutes for Health’s National Human Genome Research that was featured at The Natural History Museum of Utah from May 21, 2016 to September 5, 2016. The traveling exhibit “Genome: Unlocking Life’s Code” explains the genome revolution that’s now underway and how it’s shaping our lives. The Trait Tree project was an extension of the main exhibit to help us answer one simple question of how our genes affect the traits that we all share. Along with the interactive component of the display, an administration panel was put together to allow for administrative staff to manage all guests photos and configure the application with custom text values.

JSecademy – Web Application

JSecademy approached us with a big vision of changing how modern education is done. The vision was a big one and the team behind the vision was even bigger. The goal was to create a modern application that would allow publishers from all over the world contribute writing, video, source code, and content to the application. Custom roles, custom CLI applications, complex payment rules, user lead follow-ups, self-serving application (delete the account, create an account, and reset an account), expiration codes, trial periods, year memberships, monthly memberships, open chat community and lastly viewing and maintaining 3 different books. This project was a large undertaking, but well worth the time and effort.
Handy HandBook – Mobile Application

The Handy HandBook mobile application was created to quickly master the new skills used in the real world. Designed from the ground up for just about every learning style, the application encourages learners from all backgrounds with a variation of mnemonics that provide necessary tools to quickly remember each of the topics. Lastly, the users are able to verify if they are learning all the new skills by doing a knowledge assessment test built right into the app. The most exciting part of this app was seeing it attract such a large scale audience with over 58,000+ downloads from the app store.

Expected Guest Request – Web Application

Guest Services from the Natural History Museum of Utah requested a custom web application that would serve incoming expected guests. Since at any given time the Natural History Museum of Utah could be expecting any number of guests, it’s important to know and be aware who and when someone enters the facility. This application has helped guest staff coordinate with other staff members to serve any expected guests and provide extra details upon arrival for the guests. The application has increased customer service and improved productivity across the entire organization.
